About Us

We serve needy children, their families and communities through women’s microfinance projects, improved access to clean water, provision of health care, investment in local schools and athletics, and promotion of sustainable farming for food security and better nutrition. Partnership at both the individual and community levels creates lasting change.

Our Mission

Options for Children in Zambia works to improve relatively neglected healthcare needs in rural African communities to improve quality of life.  Specifically, Options is pursuing a novel strategy that utilizes oral health prevention as a catalyst to promote other healthcare and quality of life-improving services to low-resource rural communities.
